Prayer Request for the Keryx Prison Ministry Weekend #5
at Thumb Correctional Facility (TCF) in Lapeer, MI March2-5, 2023
Keryx Prison Ministry is a group of volunteers from all over Michigan from a variety of Christian denominations. We range from former inmates, policemen, ministers, and "normal" lay persons. There are 40 of us from the "outside" on team for this weekend. There are 30 guys from the "inside" team (inmates) who have been through a Keryx weekend that help us serve on the weekends.
There will be 42 inmate candidates from various backgrounds (churched and un-churched). Together we sing songs, listen to talks, eat together, learn about the love of Christ, and worship together from Thursday night through Sunday.
To watch the Holy Spirit, transform these guys from the rough-tough guys that come in on Thursday and change to the tender-hearted men that leave on Sunday is truly amazing. The transformation has nothing to do with us. It is all GOD. We get to have a front row seat to see God's glory in action.
Please pray for that this will be a transforming weekend.

D is living with an alcoholic and abusive husband and adult son. Last night he engaged in physical violence against the whole family and destroyed a lot of the household. She is at her breaking point, scared, fed up and beaten down. She doesn't want to have him arrested but is praying he will volunteer to go to rehab.

An update on my previous prayer request for Bill: he had surgery yesterday and they amputated his leg. He has a long road to recovery. Praise God he made it through the surgery. Please pray for his recovery and rehabilitation.

Please pray For my return to The Lord Jesus Christ. I have been going through some serious trials for sometime and have become Proud, bitter, angry, and cold. When I make an attempt to return to Him something happens to me and I Get frustrated with my life and all the things that I've been going through. At times I question if I'm saved at all.
I really don't have any Godly Christian friends or a Biblical new testament church to attend, but those aren't excuses for me to backslide. The thing is I know what The LORD wants me to do and I'm just so tired of dealing with things. I'm kinda going through a Job/Israel in The Wilderness/David being chased by King Saul experience. I'm tired and I've been posting for awhile and I thank you all for praying for me.
If you would please for The LORD to help me repent and return to Him, for Him to deliver me from the snare and wiles of the devil, and from my enemies once and for all. In addition if you would pray for my deliverance from any and all satanic bondages and strongholds, and whatever schemes the devil and my enemies are trying to do against me is exposed and confounded. If you would please pray that The LORD protects me and heals my backsliding and body of all ailments. Finally if you could pray that The Lord provides for my spiritual and material needs and restores me unto Himself Spiritually like He did for Peter and restores my life twofold like He did for Job.
