My wife has multiple health issues: CRT pacemaker, diabetes, high blood pressure, PTSD, she is non-ambulatory and is confined to a wheelchair, she has a traumatic brain injury, and is legally blind. I have not worked since September 2017 because our doctor told me to quit my job and care for my wife. We live off of her's ODSP and CPP-disability when is not a lot of money
This year did not start off great. We both woke up at 6:00am on New Year's day. This never happens. Carol spent the next 12 days in the hospital, the first 9 in ICU. The doctors were not sure if she was going to make it through the first night. She was hooked up to at least 38 bags of stuff being pumped into her through numerous IV's.
She had: pneumonia, influenza, metabolic acidosis and then turned into diabetic ketoacidosis. She was so close to death that they brought in an ICU nurse in just for her to monitor all night. She is still having complications 4 months later. She is weaker now which makes travelling even to church and doctor appointments very painful and tiring for her. We are in desperate need of a wheelchair van so she does not have to transfer from her portable wheelchair to our car and back again just to get somewhere. Then do it all again to get back home. If we had a wheelchair van, she could stay in her big power chair, which is way more comfortable and easier on her body than her portable chair.
Please pray that God will provide the necessary funds for us to purchase a wheelchair van. We have to make a 9 hour trip to Toronto, Ontario, probably in December of this year, to have her CRT-pacemaker replaced. A wheelchair van would make this trip, and many other doctor appointments so much easier for all.

Prayer Request for the Keryx Prison Ministry Weekend #1 at Ionia Correctional Facility (ICF) in Ionia, MI on May 4-7, 2023
Keryx Prison Ministry is a group of volunteers from all over Michigan from all denominations. There are 35 of us from the "outside" volunteers on team for this weekend. There also will be 8 men from the "inside" team (inmates) who have been through a Keryx weekend that help us on the weekend.
There will be 30 new inmate candidates from various backgrounds (Christian, Non-Christian, satan worshipers, Muslims, non-believers, Native Americans, etc). Together we sing songs, listen to talks, eat together, learn about the love of Christ, and worship together from Thursday night through Sunday afternoon.
To watch the Holy Spirit, transform these inmates from the rough-tough men that come in on Thursday and change them into the tender-hearted men that leave on Sunday is truly amazing. The transformation has nothing to do with us. It is all GOD. We get to have a front row seat to see God's glory in action.
Please pray for that this will be a transforming weekend.

Today is day 38 that my father has been fighting to get through necrotizing pancreatitis. He is a strong man but he is wearing out. Please join me in praying that the procedure they plan to do soon will be the successful push through this that he needs. Thank you so much!

After having hernia surgery, still didn't feel 100%. Not one to complain, due to RA, back problems, neck issues, fibromyalgia... I just prayed. Started having charlie horses in my stomach again, so I asked for an ultrasound. Thank you Jesus it's not too serious. Just a 9mm kidney stone. I am praying that the Dr can sap it. I pray Jesus will just continue to give me the strength and guidance.

I am a stay-at-home mom to 4 kids aging in range from teen to toddler. I am exhausted and overwhelmed, and I can't seem to get rid of the extra baby weight. My husband, our oldest child, and I, are all at least 100 pounds overweight. We eat lots of fast food, snacks, and "convenience foods" because I'm too tired to cook and plan healthy meals. We desperately need to make healthier lifestyle changes. Please pray God would give us wisdom to make healthy choices, strength and courage to make lasting changes, and success in weight loss and improved health.

This sounds silly but I’ve been a single mom for about 12 years, just focusing on raising my daughter, she just turned 18. I haven’t dated or been married. I was 20 when I had her and now I’m feeling a little discouraged and impatient that the Lord hasn’t brought a husband in my life. I’ve been ok with being single, but would like to marry. Please pray the Lord will bring a godly man into my life. And that I’ll know if he is the one for me. I really appreciate it. Thank you

Please continue to pray with me for Olivia and her family. Olivia is literally in the fight for her life and is in very critical condition. Pray for the strength to continue to fight the battle that is raging in her body. Pray for the bleeding in her GI tract to stop and that she would respond to the medical treatment being provided. Pray for strength for her family as they endure the emotional rollercoaster they are on. That they would continue to place their faith in the Lord. Pray for wisdom for the medical team as they search for ways to preserve Olivia's life. Thank you and God bless!

Both of my parents and father-in-law are in the hospital. My Dad just had a stroke on Monday and they all are in serious need of prayer as well as us family members working and running to the hospitals after work. We are worn out and tired. Please lift these prayer requests up to our Heavenly Father. We thank you from the bottom of our hearts. Thank you.
