I’m trying to update an earlier prayer request. An early January has placed on paid leave for my job and they were terminating me by the end of January. I began to fight this termination, believing I was wrongly terminated. As the process moved forward, I felt God telling me to let it go and to move on. This was very hard for me due to the fact I live on Beaver Island and it’s very expensive to live here. The job I had was one I loved. Actually, I loved working with the people every day. My job focused on services for those 60 and older and the people I dealt with daily became my friends.

They were more than clients to me. They were people in my community. I saw every day. Some struggled with every day task and others I saw could use better nutrition. The more I thought for them, the more I received heartache from my superiors on the mainland.

Eventually, this led to the termination. I realized God had another plan for my life. And today I am seeing that. It is a struggle for me to live here still and I continue to wonder how I’m going to pay my bills. God though seems to be guiding me.At the correct time. I just want to update my prayer to be a prayer for protection, guidance and financial stability in the unknown. God is faithful and God is good. I am so grateful for the prayer wall and without prayer I would be lost. Thank you for the blessing of Jesus Christ with each prayer.
