Domestic violence has a trickle down effect that people don't understand. Your children love your abuser. They learn to accept that love can be painful. They get into relationships that are abusive. They wind up with mental health issues and addictions. Please pray for my adult children. I'm so fearful I'm going to get that call every parent of an addict or a child who suffers from extreme depression dreads.
