So in mid April my wife and I were approached about adopting a family members baby which was due in mid July. After carefully and deliberately praying about this situation we got our answer of yes go for it. Well baby was born last Thursday and currently in the NICU (34weeks and 5 days). He is doing good and getting stronger every day. Last night however is where we got the gut punch. Last the birth mom texted us that she would like to keep the baby. This is where we need some prayer warriors to come in. Here we are all in. In what we were asked to do. My wife and I have placed this in God's hands and whatever he does we are good with but at the same time we are devasted!
