Single mom. I got my CDL 6 years ago. Went OTR (it was rough but I had a company offering to send me home every weekend and they *did* send me home every weekend.)

I saved my money. Bought 5 acres. And a 5th wheel rv. I get no assistance (and I don’t want it.) bought some chickens and did a small garden this year. I’m praying for a house. I don’t need a huge one. It’s just me and my daughter. My other kids are all older. Not adult adults but they’re teenagers and the youngest is 16. And they live with their dad through the school year (back with me for weekends holidays and all school breaks lasting more than 4 days.) so really, a small house, two bedrooms would be wonderful for me and her. She is 9. Her calling is in dance. We both know that. She’s loved it since before she could walk. She would watch musicals and roll around in my bed laughing s as a baby. Dance is not cheap. But I make it happen. Because it’s so rare for a calling to be this clear this early. And I’m being spoken to. And so is she. I don’t have anymore answers than that. But I’m praying for a house for us. I have been praying for a year and a half. We already know we can make it out here. I’ve been working on rebuilding my credit for about 3 years and every time my score gets to where they want it they just tell me “it has to be this” and it seems to go up by 10-20 points. Or they want a co-signer and I don’t have anyone to do that. I’d have stayed out over the road but she’s 9. And she needs her mom home. I couldn’t keep leaving her.
