I get the pleasure of being a local worship leader in Traverse City. I am currently on a sabbatical .. a restoration journey back to worship leading. One year ago I got in a bad dirt bike crash and had broken 17 bones, collapsed a lung, got a tear in my carotid artery and got a traumatic brain injury. Praise God I am in ZERO pain from this accident! All that is left is some cognitive issues and some outburst troubles that i've been working hard on and have had tremendous progress since working with my medical team the last few months, my Christian mentor and attending Speech and Occupational therapy 3 to 4 times a week. Just back in November of this last year my husband and I almost divorced.. like the papers were signed and things were moving forward.. then Christmas Eve I prayed for God to give us hope for our marriage.. and HE DID! He did a miracle between Christmas and New Years and Alex and I got back together!!! We ended up not getting divorced (hallelujah!) and are attending marriage counseling for the last 6 weeks gaining great progress there as well. My husband and I are 6 years clean from a 6 year long heroin addiction. God saved us both from heroin at the same time!!! That is a miracle in itself to have two addicts get sober together! Long story, not so short... My husband and I have been together for 14 years.. we were addicted to heroin, crack, coke, meth, you name it... from 2012 to 2018 and were able to get free ONLY BY GOD and His saving grace. We started attending a church in Traverse City and God changed us day by day and after a lot of bumps in the road and trial and error.... WE ARE FREE!! All that to say.. we have an incredible testimony of what Gods brought us through.. along with healing me from my dirt bike crash last year in record time with no residual pain! And healed my carotid artery tear MIRACULOUSLY without surgery. I went into the E.R for an abnormal carotid artery ultrasound saying they found a tear.. someone from my church had it laid on their heart to come find me, lay hands on my carotid and pray for me! When I came out of the E.r there was NO TEAR ANY LONGER! Two radiologists confirmed this in my report!!! Yeah Jesus!! I know there's nothing He can't do. He's working on me and restoring me to a point where I can lead worship again at my church and is strengthening my marriage. Please pray for my worship leading journey.. and for my marriage PLEASE. We have two beautiful children, one who's 12 and one who's almost 3 who need us healthy and at our best! Thank you so very much! God bless you and yours and your radio station!
